    news-2-1

Hoang Quy Hao and Le Tien Hung (K14 - Vietnam - Japan Information Technology) are on a career internship journey at Abilica Company - Specializing in providing consulting and solutions on Mechanical and Electronics Design.

HOANG QUI HAO – ALWAYS IN A READY MIND… GO GLOBAL In the first days of arriving in Japan, Quy Hao could not avoid “being shocked” when entering a regulated environment which is largly different from what he had been exposed before. This has made Hao to worry that he cannot meet the job requirements in a professional environment. Contrary to those worries, Hao and his fellow interns were taught very openly and enthusiastically by everyone at the company: from how to walk, bow, to daily sentences used in communicating with guest. “Score 10 points for the process of training and supporting new personnel at Japanese companies in general and Abilica in particular” - Quy Hao shared.

As a 4th year student, instead of choosing to intern at domestic technology companies, Quy Hao proactively chose a more difficult path - Selecting to intern in Japan. “In a world that is always changing, if you do not move forward, you are accepting failure. I have had 4 years of studying and practicing from professional knowledge to Japanese language, there is no reason why I should not “explore” the future working environment. But indeed, the process of officially setting foot in the land of cherry blossoms is also full of thorns if you do not have enough determination."

Regarding the reason for choosing this “few people choose” major, Quy Hao said: “Right from the moment I select my major when taking the university entrance exam, I proactively chose a… narrow direction, studying Information Technology with a clear vision of the post-graduation job market is Japan. The reason is that, in my opinion, proactively searching for a new direction that have not many people have taken will be less thorny than the path everyone is on. Information technology is difficult, and having to learn Japanese is even more difficult, but fortunately I determined my goal from the beginning, so the process of conquering two difficulties at the same time made me even more determined.”

In the first days of arriving in Japan, Quy Hao (left side) could not avoid “being shocked” when entering a regulated environment, very different from what he had been exposed to before.

According to Hao, in addition to successfully completing professional knowledge of information technology, when studying this field, it is very important to invest time in learning foreign languages, specifically Japanese with the Vietnam - Japan Information Technology program, it is is important. Hao shared: “Most of my scores are average, not good, but I am confident with Japanese, the language that will help me conquer the future working environment. This is also the key for us to be ready to ‘Go Global’. There are two things I want to share with you when deciding to take this path. First, at Phenikaa University, you will study with a team of highly specialized lecturers, and the teachers are very enthusiastic to support you when you need it, so don’t be afraid to ask, proactively speak up and don’t hide your ignorance.

Second, spending time mainly on self-study and limit entertainment, devoting too much time on social networks. Albert Einstein once said, “I’m not as smart as people think, I just spend a lot of time on what I’m learning.” Therefore, the amount of time you spend studying on your own will largely determine the results you get. Hard work and effort are two keywords for you." And if you are ready to conquer new lands with your own efforts, determine your path early and Phenikaa is a worthy investment choice.

LE TIEN HUNG – “FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD”

As a person who likes safety and is always satisfied with what he has, Le Tien Hung - fourth year student, Vietnam - Japan Information Technology, had a “hat trick” when going straight to the Land of Fusang, right during the 6-month graduation internship at Abilica Company - where Tien Hung and his classmates are working.

“Luck will follow those who dare to do it” - No luck will come to those who just hide in their rooms and do not dare to face risks. Opportunities only come to those who dare to think, dare to do, accept risks, and dare to stand up and overcome failure. Opportunities are for everyone, and of course not just me" - Tien Hung shared.

Before having the opportunity to come to Japan, Hung had the chance to intern at two companies in Vietnam. “During that time, I didn’t learn much, mainly assisting with small things like cleaning and helping official employees. Since participating in the internship program at Abilica company for two months now, I have learned a lot from my predecessors. On my first day at the company, I was supported, helped, and explained to me by my predecessors about the smallest things while living and working in Japan. After that, they outlined a training program for themselves from the basic steps, giving them the opportunity to communicate with the seniors around them, listen, absorb, and do simple “projects” themselves, to I gradually got used to real work, I learned real things, did real work."

When be asked why he chose a “picky” major like Vietnam-Japan Information Technology at a school with a new name like Phenikaa University, Hung said: “Phenikaa University is a new school, where students are satisfied their creativity, practice critical thinking, are respected in the learning process, and promoted there. During my time studying, I also experienced many things myself and was given opportunities to develop myself. The most typical thing is being able to intern in Japan like this time.”

There are many students in my class often complain that professional knowledge is difficult and learning Japanese is even more difficult, so the learning results are not as expected. For me, we just need to be determined and take action which have a goal, there’s nothing to regret - We are still young, we still have the opportunity to experience, to fail and to grow, so “experience anything that interests you at least once, so that in the future when the daily worries of food, clothing and money come to us, we will not regret it”. If you want to experience those cool things, Phenikaa is a very “worth investing”.
