M.Sc. Nguyen Van Thieu is a Lecturer and Researcher at Phenikaa University since January 2022. His work centers on intelligent systems, metaheuristic optimization, and machine learning. Prior to joining Phenikaa, he was a Researcher at institutions including the National Institute of Informatics (Japan), University of Luxembourg, and HUST.

He has an impressive portfolio of over 30 publications in high-impact journals such as Neurocomputing, IEEE Access, Scientific Reports, and Future Generation Computer Systems. He is also a lead developer and contributor to several open-source Python libraries, including MEALPY, MetaCluster, Opfunu, and MAFESE.

Mr. Thieu is a prolific reviewer for over 40 international journals and conferences, and serves as Associate Editor for the ICCK Transactions on Swarm and Evolutionary Learning. His research integrates AI with real-world domains such as river inflow prediction, blast-induced vibration, and blockchain consensus optimization.
